One of the best dining experiences you can have onboard a cruise is at The Chef's Table. Come explore what it's like at Carnival!
During my solo cruise on the Carnival Liberty, I decided to book The Chef's Table - and I am so glad I did! Whether you're cruising with someone special or solo, this is a wonderful dining experience you get to enjoy in the company of 12 - 14 guests.
The Chef's Table usually books up pre-cruise, but there may be cancellations so be sure to check with dining services. You can call them from your room (same number as room service) rather than waiting on the guest services line.
The date of The Chef's Table dining experience is provided on the first day of embarkation and is usually a 3 hour experience beginning at 6pm. On 7-day voyages, cruiselines may add an additional Chef's Table experience if there is a wait list to accompany another seating.
Eight Course Dinner Experience
This dining experience includes a presentation by the Sous Chef to begin with appetizers and wine. All the appetizers, wine, champagne, water, soft drinks and meal courses are included in the price of the dining experience. You will also a quick cooking lesson by the Sous Chef, which for my dining experience was the famous Carnival decadent chocolate melting cake.
All the menus are personalized with your name and you are seated on a long table with all the other guests. It is wonderful opportunity to meet other fellow passengers during this event. Entertainment is also provided about midway through the courses. We had a magician entertain everyone for about 15 minutes. It was a lot of fun and gave us time to pause from eating.
I highly recommend you book The Chef's Table during your next voyage, no matter what cruiseline you are enjoying. It is truly a wonderful dining experience not to be missed.
