Virgin Voyages is an adults-only cruise line that has reimagined the cruise vacation. Here I will share with you what to expect from their 20+ eateries...

Their inaugural sailing was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but in October 2021 the Scarlet Lady welcomed her first guests out of Port Miami!
I am back from my voyage on the Scarlet Lady and I want to share with you all the dining options available on the ship. You have 20+ eatries to choose from and, yes, they are all included in your voyage fare. You will not find a buffet or a main dining room, but what you will find are 6 restaurants, a food court with several quick-service stations, and many other dining venues around the ship including The Dock House which serves up Mediterranean inspired bites. Ready to enjoy a coconut milk french toast with rainbow sprinkles for breakfast?
Calling All Foodies!
Virgin Voyages elevates cruise dining to a brand new level. Be sure to bring your workout gear to enjoy the free fitness classes so you can indulge guilt-free in your dining. The level of service and the quality of food will truly have you ready to book a return voyage. If you have a voyage less than 7 days be ready to make some tough decisions on which of the six restaurants you will choose to enjoy. Razzle Dazzle and The Wave offer amazing brunch menus so you can enjoy those restaurants during the day if you choose to dine at the other restaurants for dinner.
Dining Venues
There are so many different dining venues available on the ship, including six main venues. These include:
Pink Agave - an upscale Mexican restaurant
Razzle Dazzle - focused on vegetarian meals
The Wake - steak and seafood restaurant
The Test Kitchen - experimental 6-course meal in a lab-style setting
Extra Virgin - an Italian restaurant
Gunbae - a Korean BBQ restaurant with communal dining
The traditional buffet area you may be used to from your last cruise will not be found onboard a Virgin Voyages ship. Instead you will find what they call The Galley. It is more of a floating fresh food market with more than 10 different international eateries. The food you will find at The Galley includes Ramen and Miso soup, Japanese bento box, sweets and treats, pastries and flatbreads, 24-hour American diner, burger bar, sandwiches and toasties, tacos and burritos, and healthy bites.
Additional dining venues includes an ice cream shop, pizza place, casual mediterranean lounge, outside mezze lounge, carnival eats (popcorn, hot dogs), and a poke bowls cafe.
VTC Tips
All Voyages include all dining, including the restaurants, as well as wifi, fitness classes, essential drinks and gratuities in your fare. Be sure to download the Virgin Voyages app and complete the check-in online. Dining reservations open 45 days before your sail date (60 days for those booked in a Rockstar or Mega Rockstar Suite). Do not worry too much if you were not able to book a dining reservation. All restaurants take walk-ins. I do recommend you continue to check the app if there is a restaurant you just cannot risk not enjoying, like the Test Kitchen.
The six restaurants also offer a Treat Yourself menu option which varies in price, but ranges around $30 - $45. I highly recommend the Pescado Zarandeado which is achiote halibut, lobster, grilled giant prawn, and bay scallops at Pink Agave ($30).
Love Tequila? Pink Agave serves up amazing cocktails only available in their restaurant. They also have a bar close to the entrance so you can enjoy a cocktail anytime during the evening without a dining reservation.
